Greek Propaganda Project
You will choose from one of two options.
Option 1: Choose between Athens or Sparta and make a poster supporting them in the war.
Option 2: Research and decide if Alexander the Great was truly Great or was he actually a bad guy. Create a poster either as a WANTED poster or a tribute poster.
DIRECTIONS
Option 1: On a poster sheet, make a poster supporting the city-state of your choice (Athens or Sparta). This poster should include positive details about the city you chose as well as negative details about their opponent. Include pictures or drawings, color and decorate the poster, make it eye catching, and your poster should try to rally support for the city-state you choose. You should include some text on the poster but not so much that the poster is nothing but words. This poster should be designed to persuade others to support your city-state in the Peloponnesian War. Think of movie posters and billboards you have seen and pattern it off of those.
Option 2: Do a little extra research on Alexander the Great and decide if you think he earned the title "the Great" or if he was actually a menace to society. If you think he was a Great hero, make a poster that is a tribute to him and his greatness. Include pictures or drawings, color and decorate the poster, make it eye catching, and your poster should make Alexander seem like a Hollywood star. If you think Alexander was a menace, create a wild west style WANTED poster stating his crimes and the reward for bringing him in. Your poster should include pictures or drawings, color and decorate the poster, make it eye catching, and your poster should make Alexander seem like the worst bad guy there is.
