Geography of Ancient Greece

After completing the WebQuest, complete the project below.

Be sure to look at the project requirements to make sure you are completing it correctly.

Map of ancient Greece

You will create a map of ancient Greece during the time of the Minoans and Mycenaeans (around 1500 BC).

I will give you an outline map to use or you may choose to draw your own.

You will need to do research on the internet to complete this assignment.

Include the following:

Title of the map: Ancient Greece (c1500 BC)

A compass rose

A map key

Color water blue and label the following seas: Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Ionian Sea

Color the land of Greece red or pink (including the islands)

Color the Island of Crete purple

Color all other land green

Use a brown triangle to indicate where Mt. Olympus is.

Use a black dot at the location of each of the following cities (include their names on the map): Knossos, Athens, Thebes, Troy, and Mycenae

NEATNESS IS IMPORTANT!
