Map of ancient Rome

You will create a map of ancient Rome using the requirements outlined below

I will give you an outline map to use or you may choose to draw your own.

You will need to do research on the internet to complete this assignment.

Use colored pencils, DO NOT USE MARKERS

Include the following:

Title of the map:  Ancient Rome

A compass rose 

A map key

Color water blue and label the following seas:  Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea

Color the land of Rome red or pink

Color the Islands of Sicily, Sardinia, and Corsica purple and label them

Color the area of Carthage orange and label it

Color all other land green

Use a series of brown triangles to indicate the Alps and Apennine mountain ranges and label them

Draw in the Po and Tiber Rivers with blue and label them

Use a black dot at the location of the actual city of Rome and label it

NEATNESS IS IMPORTANT!
